Rare/interesting town features

While resetting my town I came across a town in which the waterfall went from left to right, instead of down. This is something I've never seen before, in anyone else's town, or in any other of the towns I've come across while resetting (which is an awful lot), so I'm guessing this is pretty rare. Usually the waterfall just goes from north to south

Has anyone else come across any rare or interesting town features (that are not hacked), in your town or someone else's?
It'd be awesome to see a town where the river forks in the top layer, so there is a two-tiered island, but I don't think that's possible
